Dear Ariel ( a. k. a. little mermaid), So what you are really saying is . . . if you fall in love with a stranger, steal his stuff, lie to your father, abandon your family, "sell" your body, genetically alter yourself for him . . . and THEN you can live happily ever after? Got it. (there goes my childhood again). Sincerely, Clio

  2. Snow White: Her burgeoning sexuality is a threat to another woman,so she's killed. Her only asset, physical beauty,is what saves her in the end. Sleeping Beauty: Betrothed at birth to solidify a political position, she is killed by another woman out of spite. Her owner...ahem.. fiance, saves her with a kiss. Again physical beauty is what saves her in the end. Jasmine (Alladin): As a woman, your political worth is reduced to your mariageability.Again physical beauty is what saves her in the end. Belle (Beauty and the Beast): Saves a princes life with her only asset, her sexuality. Afterall, appearances dont matter, what counts is your heart. Unless you're the girl. Cinderella: She is saved by terrible living conditions by making a wealthy man fall for her. Again physical beauty (and small feet) is what saves her in the end.

  4. Dear Mulan, Thank you for teaching young girls that not all women have to be saved by a prince. Sincerely, Clio
